Apple time capsule is a combination of storage media for backup and base station-based wireless Wi-Fi. Initially, Apple introduces Time Capsule in 2008. The product is equipped with a 500GB hard drive. Time Capsule is function as a wireless storage for the purposes of Mac computers (iMac or MacBook) which connected to a Wi-Fi. It is emitted without the need for additional Wi-Fi router. Time Capsule is a backup feature that also works automatically with Time Machine application in Mac OS X. For those who need the Wi-Fi router to share an Internet connection or a small network, Time Capsule is also be able to do so, however, if users only need a wireless function, they usually choose the Apple AirPort Base Station which is cheaper.
