There are two smartphone operating system using Firefox, which Keon and Peak.
Keon is a mobile phone with a simple model that is equipped with a 8.9 inch screen, 3 megapixel camera and processor of Qualcomm Snapdragon S1.Peak is a phone that has a wider screen and comes with an 8 megapixel camera and faster processor, Snapdragon S4.
Mozilla Foundation said the product was expected to be part of a series of cheap smartphone that can be sold worldwide.
"If you are a developer who is interested in web technologies and phones, now it's time to try a Firefox OS," said an official Mozilla, Stormy Peters.
But the Mozilla effort elicits Firefox OS will likely face competition from other systems that are scheduled to be launched, the Blackberry 10, Ubuntu, Tizen and Sailfish to be launched for smart phone application before the end of 2013, as well as for market share that has been held by Android , iOS, Windows Phone, Blackberry 7 and Symbian.
